#2 Day at the Market Bag Free Crochet Pattern
For several years I have wanted to start going to farmers markets regularly. I’d always forget it, and before I knew it, the season was over. This year I have done a lot better and now I have experienced the best raspberry jalapeño jam in the world thanks to a local magician.
When buying your local produce, it is good to have a place to store them. I hate disposable plastic bags. So I decided I needed a flexible market bag that could handle a variety of items of various shapes and sizes.
The Day at the Market bag meets that need! I wanted the bag to prepare quickly, light and airy, but without big holes. This bag is just that. It is lightweight with a beautiful texture, yet sewn tight enough to keep your content private. It can also be easily prepared for a relaxing weekend.

#13 Mighty Fine Day Bag Free Pattern
This bag is a nod to our camping trip in Cornwall a few months ago, and specifically the Mighty Fine Day we spent at Tintagel with our closest friends and their boys. The colours are also reminiscent of my daily commute during Covid.
Marrying these everyday moments with the ones that make my heart sing will hopefully serve as a reminder that the best days are not the only mighty fine days there are. Sometimes the regular days are mighty fine too!
The Mighty Fine Day Bag is full of texture and mindful stitches. It has a strap closure and a cute little Floral Pouch (for stitch markers or treasures).
The pattern is presented as a step-by-step photo tutorial, written in US terminology.

I used 5 skeins of yarn from paint box yarns and a few more odds and ends from random brands like red heart super saver.
#15 Brava Phone Pouch Free Pattern
My Brava Phone Pouch is a handy little cell phone pouch you can take with you when you’re going out and don’t want to take much, or when you’re lounging around at home in what all women own: pants without pockets. Sigh. Why are they still hurting us like this?! We. Need. Pockets. Too!!
#16 Lipa Backpack Free Pattern
Beginner friendly crochet pattern for a lovely backpack. The pattern starts with a circle that creates the bottom of the bag. The main body of the bag is then worked in rounds using single crochet stitch. The front of the bag has a lovely picture of Lipa (linden tree) that has a special place in my national history. This symbolic tree is used in many handmade designs throughout the history – tablecovers, doilies and national dresses.
The finished bag is 24cm wide and 32cm tall, the pattern includes notes on adjusting the size should you wish to do so.
